Movement makes muscle

Often fitness focuses on muscle. Exercises isolate a muscle to “tone” and strengthen. This is a bit backwards as the purpose of muscles are movement!  Pilates teaches movement and muscles learn to stabilize, mobilize, strengthen and stretch through movement.
