New year, new you

I’m not one for New Year’s resolutions but I know I’m in the minority. It can be a great time for people to jump start new healthy habits. If you want to find a better way to exercise, finally address those nagging pains or discover your bodies potential in movement I encourage you to try a session. I’m available for sessions in my studio in Portland or via video chat online wherever you are.

My approach to Pilates is focused yet flexible. If you’re looking to improve sport’s performance we will work on specific training that supports your endeavors. If you are struggling with pain and/or injuries we will work gently to effectively create healthy movement and allow you to regain what you’ve lost and reclaim your health. If you want to get fit for the first time or back in shape after a long hiatus from exercise we’ll tackle your goals with carefully chosen workouts that give you a balanced body. If you want to improve your balance we will practice safety and methodically to rebuild your strength, flexibility and awareness to restore healthy proprioception, your bodies sense of itself in space and response to changing terrain. There’s no end to what you can do with Pilates!  But to get results you have to begin. I’m here to help you every step of the way.
